I don't specialize in Disney Destinations because I took classes or studied books. It’s because I truly have a passion for Disney. I take my own personal vacations to Disney Destinations and have been to them 50+ times.

Mobile Ordering at PizzeRizzo

Have you ever been to a Disney theme park and wished that there was a Lightning Lane for other things besides the attractions?? When they come up with a Lightning Lane system for a stall in the women's restrooms, I will be all over that one. But until they do, I will just settle for a Lightning Lane to get me to the front of the long lines for food at quick service restaurants. And yes, that one DOES exist!

First of all, not all of the Disney quick service dining options offer mobile ordering, but most of them do. So be sure to take a look at your app and see if the dining option you're pining for is a mobile dining option.

Secondly, mobile dining is available at both the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida AND at the Disneyland Resort in California. Take note inside Disneyland, mobile ordering is available at the Tiki Juice Bar (DOLE WHIP!!) and the Mint Julep Bar (BEIGNETS!!). You're welcome.

Thirdly, there is a photo album associated with this post so you can see how it all works. I took screenshots from my phone to show you my mobile dining process during a visit to PizzeRizzo at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Off we go!

  • Click on the + button at the bottom of your screen while you're in the Disneyland Resort app or My Disney Experience app for Walt Disney World.

  • A options menu will pop up - select "Order Food"

  • Find your restaurant of choice from the options listed. If you don't see your chosen restaurant listed, then they do not offer mobile ordering at this time.

  • Build your order. Click on each food and beverage item that everyone in your party would like.  Keeping adding items until everyone in your party has everything they want.  You do have the option to customize your order at this point! No pickles on your burger? No problem!

  • Click on "View my Order" to see a full summary of your chosen items.

  • Click “Review Order Summary”   You will then see information about how to pick up your order, another list of your items, and your payment method.   You can choose to pay by credit card, debit card, or the Disney Dining Plan.

  • Click “Purchase”. You're able to put in your order in the morning for lunch that afternoon! When you are near the restaurant and ready to pick up your food, then go back into the app and click on the button that days "I'm here, prepare my order"

  • Now it's time to scope out a table for you and your family. Keep an eye on your app because it will tell you when your order is ready.

  • Proceed to the mobile pick up order counter. This pick up window is usually located off to the side of the normal ordering areas and will always be identified with a sign.

Bon appetite!

Please Note: Mobile dining order confirmation is sometimes required to enter quick service restaurants during the pandemic. This is designed to limited the number of people inside the restaurant itself. Keep in mind that your order will be billed to the credit card on file in your My Disney Experience account. Once you have the blue screen confirmation that your order is ready for pickup, you may enter the restaurant.
